Founder/Managing Parter
Phil Guana brings over 30 years of hands-on Food & Beverage experience — from bussing tables as a kid to Fortune 100 marketing executive, to CEO, restaurant owner, and Wine & Spirits distributor. He founded and sold Amante Divine Wine & Spirits in Arizona before joining one of the largest Anheuser-Busch distributors in the country, driving national retail placement for brands like Budweiser, Sierra Nevada, Deschutes, and Firestone. He later served as VP of Sales and National Accounts for brands including Chimay, KWV South African Wine, Hangar 24, and Sonoma Cider.

In 2016, Phil founded Edge Beverage Consulting with a clear mission: help small and mid-sized brands break through to national retail chains at a time when distributor consolidation was shutting them out. Today, Edge has grown into an international company with a team across the country delivering results for clients in every beverage category.

Phil's retail relationships span the industry's biggest players — Costco, Total Wine, Kroger, Whole Foods, Target, Publix, Wegmans, HEB, and many more. He is a trusted voice in the industry and is regularly invited to speak on national retail sales and brand growth.

Off the clock, Phil is a father of three, a world traveler when time permits, poker player, and soccer fan — bilingual in Spanish, and fluent enough in Italian to end up lost outside Milan drinking Barolo in a barn with Italian Chocolatiers and winemakers at 2am (long story). He holds a degree in Marketing and a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Global Politics & Business Management from Arizona State University.
