Darren Quinlan is a proud graduate from the University of Florida where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business with a specialty in Sales and Marketing. He is an experienced professional in beverage sales and production and has a successful sales record with both established and smaller brands, building strong relationships with distributors and chains nationwide. Darren also has a financial services background working as a stockbroker before joining the beverage industry.
Prior to Edge Beverage Consulting, Darren was the East Sales Director working with a variety of beverage companies including 6 European brands. He is well-known for his ability to create and effectively manage dynamic sales teams to educate consumers about quality brands. He also has a proven record for overseeing national chain divisions and leading strategic sales planning and execution with importers he represented.
Darren first became involved in commercial brewing and barrel aging and blending in 2003 while living in Atlanta and continued involvement in brewing in New York earning a Silver Medal at the GABF in the Wood & Barrel Aged Strong Beer category in 2005. Over the years he has been involved with Breast Cancer Awareness, First Tee Golf Association, and the MS Bike Ride. He is passionate about discovering ways to help acquire brands and help develop recipes for a clean and healthy lifestyle. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, biking, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with his family.
